Well, there are many ways to root your android device and the method i am going to show you works for most of the devices running android 6.0 marshmallow and below. It is 100% safe so just try if it works for you or not.

1. First of all this method won't delete your data so just relax but i recommend you to take a backup of your device.

2.  Now you need to KINGROOT app. This will take you to the official xda link just scroll down the page and download the app kingroot app.
3. After you've downloaded it just go to your phone's settings>security and enable the unknown sources option.

4. Now just install the downloaded app and open it.

5. When you will open it will show you that
root access is not available in your device. But dont't you worry.

Just click on the start root button shown in the app.

6. Make sure that you're connected to the internet as the procedure will need to download some files required for rooting.

7. The full procedure won't take much time to complete. Somewhere between 2-4 minutes so during that period don't use your device or fiddle out with it and let the process complete.

8. Some devices can automatically restart during the process so don't you worry about that.

9. After the process is successfully completed you will have a rooted device now.

To Check If your device is properly rooted or not just download the root checker app from here:  Download Root Checker

Open the root checker app and just click on verify root.

It will ask you for the superuser permissions just grant it.
